Avalanche danger was moderate to high today, Sunday May 18, 1997. Cool temperatures, wind gusts in the morning, and great sun in the afternoon.
Sally Fletcher from Ottawa leaves the ravine at days end, headed for some great moguls and shrub dodging down the little headwall towards HoJos. The headwall makes a great backdrop for his shot. Amazingly I took this shot of Sally skiing solo, however there were skiers and hikers everywhere you looked. |
