At the trailhead to Tuckerman Ravine on highway 16, you'll find the AMC Pinkham Notch Center. Pinkham Notch serves as the main trailhead for ascents of Mount Washington by the popular Tuckerman Ravine trail.
Across the road is the Wildcat Mountain ski resort.
Next door to the center you'll find the Joe Dodge center which houses up to 100 hikers/skiers in bunk rooms. Expect to pay about $25 per person in a shared bunkroom, or $55 per night for a private double. Call 603-466-2727 to reserve.
Out back is a pack scale in case you want to see just how much weight your going to haul up the mountain.
